My job isn't simply to pick the right tracks. It's to understand a venue, an audience and a story, to create the atmosphere that suits them.
Discover my approachThe atmosphere is built long before the first dance.
A successful evening doesn't begin when the dance floor fills up. It begins as soon as guests arrive: in the music that welcomes them, the lighting, the rhythm of the cocktail hour, the flow of the speeches and the way each moment follows the last.
This global vision guides my work. Musical programming, sound, lighting and coordination are thought through together so that technology gradually fades behind the experience.

Preparing a programme is essential. Knowing when to move away from it is just as important: I observe each event and its own energy, and let the music evolve naturally through the evening.
Generations, cultures and musical tastes differ — my goal is to find the bridges that bring them together, rather than set them against each other.

Inspiration also comes from elsewhere.
Travel, places and cultures nourish the way I imagine an event — Japan in particular strengthened my taste for detail and restraint, the ability to create a strong experience without overdoing it.
Listening bars and vinyl culture also reminded me of the essential: music becomes a true experience when paired with the right environment — an influence that today feeds some of Laurent Mas's scenographies.
A signature, carried by a team.
Laurent Mas works with a team of professional DJs, selected for their experience, their musical sense and the way they approach events — to ensure the continuity and quality of every event, including when Laurent is not personally available.
Today, it is mainly Laurent who embodies this signature on the website. Each event is prepared with the same standard: understand your world, build a suitable programme and create a musical experience that is smooth, elegant and alive. If your date requires another DJ from the team rather than Laurent himself, you will be informed and will know them in advance — with, in every case, the same method and the same support.
